J-Link

Justis Publishing’s award-winning automatic linking was originally developed for use with the Justis range of legal databases.

The latest application of this technology – J-Link – is a highly-flexible and fully-customisable tool designed to work not only with normal web pages, but also with documents within your own internal know-how systems, websites and intranets.

J-Link enables you to convert references within web pages into hypertext links at the click of a button. Links are created dynamically, as and when they are needed, thus ensuring that they always remain accurate and up-to-date.

J-Link is delivered as an add-on for the Internet Explorer browser which creates a clickable button in the browser’s toolbar. It recognises references appearing on any web (or intranet) page which you are currently viewing. When you click the toolbar button, all linkable references are converted into links which, when clicked, take you to relevant information or full text on a website or an Intranet.

The first version of J-Link is free, and creates links to relevant information in the JustCite online legal citator. More information…
